SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY
Effective Date: 9 August 2026
This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to orders placed with ADZ Food Distribution Ltd trading as ADZ Foods (βADZ Foodsβ, βweβ, βusβ or βourβ) through our website.
Our aim is to provide a fast, reliable delivery and collection service for takeaways, restaurants, caterers, businesses and members of the public.
1. Delivery or Collection
When placing an order online, customers may be given the option to select:
-
Delivery; or
-
Click & Collect / Pickup
The options available to you depend on your delivery postcode, order value, stock availability and the delivery services available at the time of checkout.
Customers must ensure the correct option is selected before completing payment.
2. Delivery Areas
ADZ Foods currently provides local delivery to eligible addresses within the following postcode areas:
-
Lancaster β LA
-
Blackburn β BB
-
Preston β PR
-
Liverpool β L
-
Wigan β WN
-
Bolton β BL
-
Oldham β OL
-
Halifax β HX
-
Huddersfield β HD
-
Stockport β SK
-
Manchester β M
-
Chester β CH
-
Crewe β CW
-
Warrington β WA
Customers must enter their delivery postcode on our website to confirm whether delivery is available to their address.
The postcode checker and checkout system determine delivery eligibility. Being located within a listed postcode area does not override the result provided by our website where a particular address or postcode cannot be serviced.
If delivery is not available to your address, you may place your order for Click & Collect from our Bolton premises.
ADZ Foods reserves the right to amend, expand or restrict its delivery areas and delivery routes at any time.
3. Free Delivery Over Β£300
Qualifying orders of Β£300 or more are eligible for free delivery, provided that the delivery address is within an eligible ADZ Foods delivery area.
Whether an order has reached the qualifying delivery threshold will be determined by the website and checkout system.
Where any delivery charge applies, the applicable amount will be displayed at checkout before the order is completed.
Discount codes, promotional offers, amendments, refunds or removal of unavailable items may affect the qualifying order value.
4. Next-Day Delivery
ADZ Foods operates a dedicated delivery fleet and offers next-day delivery on eligible orders wherever reasonably possible.
Next-day delivery is subject to:
-
the customer's delivery postcode;
-
the relevant delivery route;
-
the time the order is received and accepted;
-
stock availability;
-
vehicle capacity;
-
access to the delivery premises;
-
operational requirements; and
-
circumstances outside our reasonable control.
βNext-day deliveryβ is a delivery service target and does not constitute a guarantee that an order will arrive at a particular time unless a specific arrangement has been expressly confirmed by ADZ Foods.
Delivery routes and drop times may vary.
Where we are unable to deliver on the expected delivery day, we will use reasonable efforts to deliver the order at the next available opportunity and, where appropriate, contact the customer.
Nothing in this section limits any statutory rights that apply to a consumer.
5. Delivery Times
ADZ Foods may arrange deliveries throughout its normal delivery routes.
We cannot guarantee a specific delivery time unless this has been expressly agreed by ADZ Foods.
Any estimated time, delivery window or delivery date provided by our website, staff or driver is an estimate unless expressly stated otherwise.
Customers should ensure that somebody authorised to receive the goods is available at the delivery address.
6. Delivery Address
It is the customer's responsibility to provide a complete and accurate delivery address, including where applicable:
-
business or trading name;
-
building or unit number;
-
street;
-
postcode;
-
contact name;
-
telephone number; and
-
any important delivery or access instructions.
ADZ Foods is not responsible for delay or failed delivery caused by incorrect, incomplete or misleading delivery information supplied by the customer.
Customers should check their delivery details carefully before submitting an order.
7. Access to the Delivery Premises
The customer must provide safe, reasonable and lawful access for our delivery vehicle and driver.
This includes ensuring, where applicable, that:
-
entrances are accessible;
-
loading or unloading can take place safely;
-
gates or barriers can be opened;
-
delivery instructions are accurate;
-
somebody is available to accept the delivery; and
-
any known access restrictions are communicated to ADZ Foods in advance.
Our drivers are not required to enter any location which they reasonably consider unsafe or unsuitable.
Delivery may be refused, rearranged or returned to ADZ Foods where safe access cannot be obtained.
8. Failed Deliveries
If we attempt delivery but cannot complete it because:
-
nobody is available to accept the goods;
-
the premises are closed;
-
access is unavailable;
-
an incorrect address has been supplied;
-
the customer refuses delivery without a valid reason; or
-
another circumstance within the customer's reasonable control prevents delivery,
the goods may be returned to ADZ Foods.
We may contact the customer to arrange redelivery or collection.
ADZ Foods reserves the right to charge a reasonable redelivery charge where a delivery failure has been caused by the customer.
Additional restrictions may apply to chilled, frozen, fresh or other temperature-sensitive goods because of food-safety requirements.
9. Leaving Goods Unattended
Customers should arrange for an authorised person to receive the order.
Because many products supplied by ADZ Foods are food products, including chilled and frozen goods, our drivers may refuse to leave goods unattended where doing so could create a food-safety, security or product-quality risk.
If a business customer specifically instructs ADZ Foods to leave an order unattended or at a nominated location, ADZ Foods may accept or refuse that instruction at its discretion.
Where such an instruction is accepted, the customer is responsible for ensuring that the nominated location is suitable and secure.
Nothing in this section removes or restricts rights which cannot legally be excluded for consumers.
10. Chilled, Frozen and Temperature-Controlled Products
Chilled, frozen and temperature-controlled products should be placed into suitable refrigerated or frozen storage immediately after delivery.
The customer is responsible for appropriate handling and storage after the goods have been delivered.
Goods must not be left in an unsuitable environment after delivery.
Our separate Returns & Refund Policy applies to claims concerning damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied temperature-controlled products.
11. Checking Your Delivery
Customers should inspect their order as soon as reasonably possible upon delivery.
Please check:
-
quantities;
-
product condition;
-
packaging;
-
chilled or frozen products where applicable; and
-
that the products received correspond with the order.
Any damaged, broken, missing, short-supplied or incorrect goods must be reported to ADZ Foods within 24 hours of delivery in accordance with our Returns & Refund Policy.
We may ask for:
-
your order or invoice number;
-
details of the affected products;
-
quantities affected;
-
photographs; and
-
any other reasonable information required to investigate the matter.
Claims made outside the applicable reporting period will be dealt with in accordance with our Returns & Refund Policy and applicable law.
12. Stock Availability and Substitutions
Orders are subject to stock availability.
Although our website is regularly updated, stock may occasionally become unavailable between the time an order is submitted and the time it is picked for delivery.
If an item is unavailable, ADZ Foods may contact the customer regarding an alternative product, adjustment, refund or account credit where appropriate.
We will not knowingly substitute a materially different item without the customer's agreement where agreement is reasonably required.
13. Amendments and Cancellations
If you need to change or cancel a delivery order, please contact ADZ Foods as soon as possible.
We cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or cancelled once:
-
the order has been accepted;
-
picking has started;
-
chilled or frozen products have been prepared;
-
the goods have been loaded; or
-
the vehicle has left for delivery.
Any refund or cancellation will also be subject to our Returns & Refund Policy and applicable consumer law.
14. Delays Outside Our Control
Deliveries may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:
-
severe weather;
-
road closures;
-
traffic incidents;
-
vehicle breakdowns;
-
accidents;
-
power or system failures;
-
supplier disruption;
-
public emergencies;
-
industrial action; or
-
other events which could not reasonably have been avoided.
Where this happens, ADZ Foods will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and complete delivery as soon as reasonably possible.
15. Delivery Confirmation
ADZ Foods may request confirmation that an order has been received.
This may include the recipient's name, signature or another reasonable form of delivery confirmation.
Customers must ensure that employees or other persons accepting goods at the delivery address are authorised to receive the order on their behalf.
16. Click & Collect

ADZ Foods aims to have Click & Collect orders ready within approximately 30 minutes, subject to stock availability, order size and operational capacity.

17. Collection-Only Prices and Promotions
Certain products, discounts or promotional prices displayed on our website may apply exclusively to Pickup / Click & Collect orders.
Where a product is advertised at a collection-only or pickup price, that price may not apply to delivery orders.
The price and delivery method shown at checkout will apply to the order.
18. Risk and Responsibility
Responsibility for goods will pass in accordance with applicable law and the terms governing the particular transaction.
Where the customer is acting as a consumer, nothing in this Shipping & Delivery Policy is intended to remove or restrict the customer's statutory rights, including applicable legal protections concerning delivery and the passing of risk.
For business customers, additional contractual terms agreed with ADZ Foods may also apply.
19. Returns, Shortages and Damaged Goods
This Shipping & Delivery Policy should be read together with our Returns & Refund Policy.
Our Returns & Refund Policy contains important requirements concerning:
-
damaged goods;
-
missing goods;
-
short deliveries;
-
incorrectly supplied products;
-
chilled and frozen products;
-
return conditions; and
-
the 24-hour reporting period.
20. Changes to This Policy
ADZ Foods may update this Shipping & Delivery Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our delivery areas, delivery routes, services, order thresholds, systems or legal requirements.
The version published on our website at the time of an order will apply, subject to applicable law.
